I will never forget how much I despised the term, “Shock and Awe” and how much I'm disgusted by it even more now. Glorify the murder of innocents with words and dasterdly deeds...that's what they do.
Rose and I were among the hundreds peacefully objecting to the position of hate and intolerance...they (the DC braintrust) whitewash treason, murder and imperialism as democracy, liberation and freedom...
I actually witnessed some genius yell at me and the crowd that we are “traitors.”
I don't have to tell you about this crop of so-called “patriots”. (Funny how many of those guys with the vanity license plates own the road too...)
DSHAPS you are a real king of comedy, a reason I get up in the morning, to tell you to your face, how miserable your existence really is, how poisoned your mind is, and how clueless you truly are...
The minute I heard the news of his tragic death, I mumbled to myself, “Boston...Brad Delp, vocals, Tom Scholz, guitar, Barry Goudreau, guitar, Fran Sheehan, bass, and Sib Hashian, drums...”
Anyone growing up in 1976 that heard the debut Boston LP over the FM radio airwaves witnessed modern music history. The songs were so catchy, and you were left scratching your head in wonder over the soaring technical ability of Brad's vocals, and Tom Scholz's huge guitar... I'm really sad that the world lost another caring human, and if you subscribe to the vegetarian regimen, you know both Brad (and Mr Scholz) were unique in their being and in a brutal business called music... Dammit ! This is SO sad...
It's cliche´- I know, but Rest In Peace, Brad...

And it sure been a cold, cold winter
And the wind ain't been blowin' from the south
It's sure been a cold, cold winter
And a lotta love is all burned out
It sure been a hard, hard winter
My feet been draggin' 'cross the ground
And I hope it's gonna be a long, hot summer
And a lotta love will be burnin' bright
And I wish I been out in California
When the lights on all the Christmas trees went out
But I been burnin' my bell, book and candle
And the restoration plays have all gone 'round
It sure been a cold, cold winter
My feet been draggin' 'cross the ground
And the fields has all been brown and fallow
And the springtime take a long way around
Yeah, and I wish I been out in Stone Canyon
When the lights on all the Christmas trees went out
But I been burnin' my bell, book and candle
And the restoration plays have all gone 'round
well, well, well...
Oh, Sometimes I think about you, baby, well, well
Sometimes I cry about you lord
yeah I wrap my coat around you, woman
yeah I wrap my coat around you, woman
Sometimes I wanna keep you warm
Sometimes I wanna wrap my coat around you
Sometimes I wanna but I can't afford you
