Goodbye old maple friend...

This came as a shock, the Town decided it was time for our guardian maple to fall...Pictured on the left in November 2008...today on the right, the remains of the ancient giant... Home to many creatures. It's quiet and the maple is gone. For me, I have lost a familiar and reliable friend who protected our fortress.
