Protester solidarity through pizza

Ian's Pizza On State
Until very recently, Ian's on State Street was just a well-loved pizza joint serving college kids at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Now, Ian’s amassed new status as a vehicle for international donors to show support for protesters.
Located within walking distance of the State Capitol, the pizzeria has become a hub of goodwill. Ian's received calls from 38 states and 12 foreign countries, looking to contribute to the protesters' cause. These callers are ordering pizzas for the crowds. It may not solve the labor crisis, but a free hot slice goes a long way on the picket lines in the cold Midwestern winter.
On Saturday, Ian's delivered more than 1,000 slices and 300 full pies to the Capitol. The delivery orders continued throughout store hours Sunday.
Ian's said the first donation came from a Badger parent, but soon money started pouring in from as far as South Korea and Turkey. The pizzeria is using Twitter and Facebook to update followers on the pizza drive.
